Completing this degree requires a more rigorous coursework which can be about 30 hours at a graduate level. A lot of teachers do complete the degree to compile with the state licensing requirements to continue in education.
When you complete your Masters degree, this can lead to a triple A certification and double A certification, which are specialist degrees. The A’s show what level of salary you will receive as a licensed holder. Someone with a higher certification earns more than the other certificates. These licenses can only be used for five years.
There are over seven types of primary school Specialist education degrees that are offered online. This is a degree that will allow a teacher to qualify for the certificate in triple A certification. For those who have that Master’s degree already, the Specialist degree will require you to do about 30 online courses, that also include studying within early childhood to upper elementary, special education, and curriculum and research. There are other programs online, like the Delta State University, require the students to have a license in teaching already before they decide to enroll in one of their specialist degrees.
